Scope of Work:
The Power Electrical Work includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of all electrical systems required for the reliable and safe distribution of electrical power within the facility or project site. This work shall comply with relevant national and international standards, including NEC, IEC, IEEE, and local codes.
Power Distribution System:
- Installation of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) switchgear.
- Transformers (step-up/step-down) installation and interconnection.
- Panel boards (main distribution board, sub-distribution boards).
- Power factor correction units.
- Busbar trunking systems and cable trays.
Cabling and Wiring:
Laying and termination of power cables (MV, LV, and control cables).
Conduit and trunking systems for cable routing.
Cable labeling, tagging, and identification.
Earthing and Grounding:
- Design and installation of grounding systems.
- Earth pits, grounding rods, and connections.
- Lightning protection systems.
Generators and UPS Systems (if applicable):
- Installation of diesel generators.
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and batteries.
- Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS).
Electrical Equipment Installation:
- Motors, pumps, HVAC power supplies.
- Industrial control panels.
- Protection and metering devices.
Deliverables:
- Detailed work schedule.
- Material submittals and approvals.
- Test reports and certificates.
- Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
- As-built drawings.
